This is the week where I really felt like we are getting into some more complicated material. The Advanced CSS was interesting, as I wasn’t aware of the built in library functions within CSS. I think CSS is often overlooked, but there is a lot to work with, and especially with the more advanced concepts.

The WordPress Developer Course kind of blew my mind a little bit… it was a ton of information to try and parse out, but it was really fascinating to to see how the code looks behind the scenes in VSCode. I am excited to see how to start manipulating the code base, or at least taking a look at all of the open source code and the structure of the wp_files. I am going to spend a little time over spring break accessing the codebase and examining the files more closely and reading the comments and documentation to try and understand what is going on behind the scenes so to speak. Overall, very interesting week that makes me excited and a bit nervous about that is to come!
